Q Framing Pte Ltd started out as a small custom frame shop, co-founded by husband-and-wife team Steven Yip (Certified Picture Framer®) and Zoe Kew in January 2002.
Our passion for framing began when we were working in one of Singapore’s largest chains of retail frame shops doing ordinary framing jobs. Frustrated by the lack of an established framing standard in Singapore, we took on the responsibility to improve on that.
Q Framing was thus established to provide exceptional framing, where conservation is the norm. We pride ourselves in taking up projects whether large or small, simple or complex. We upgraded our skills through attending seminars in the United States, and Steven is armed with certification from the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA). Through education and continued learning, we want to make a difference in raising the standards of the framing industry.
Our company currently occupies 12,000 sq ft of space in Bukit Batok Connection. Our access-controlled premises are closely monitored by CCTV, and all works in our care are kept safe and insured. We personally train our team of people to meet our exacting standards, and insist on Museum Grade 100% Cotton Rag Matboards, quality mouldings and UV Protection glazings for our frames.
Our customers comprise mainly of fine art private collectors, art galleries and institutions as well as individuals who want to protect their cherished portraits and mementos.
We gather only people who have the same passion in art and frame, as we do. Our team consists of individuals who possess varying skills and many years of experience in handling art and most importantly, a high sense of responsibility to take care of the valuable pieces of artwork that you entrust to us.
